Last Wednesday the 24th, the midweek Linux Workshop shut down early in order to visit en masse the hospital room of longtime member "SCOman" as I first called him (Steve Mussachia). He's doing as good as can be expected; I met his brother for the first time and we then adjourned to the Kirby House of Pies (known by other epithets, of course).
The Saturday the 27th show by Russell Adams regarding Backup Schemes For Linux (my title) drew in a dozen people, which I consider good for what it followed (MASS DISASTER AND DESTRUCTION AT GALVESTON AND ENVIRONS, REMEMBER?) It covered cp, tar, rsync, rsnapshot, AMANDA and other commands and programs. And guess what? The presentation .pdf is right here:

Also check his "presentations" section in general for other things he's done for both HLUG (the Saturday meet) and the Linux SIG (the Wednesday meet).
